"Why You're Important to Me"

The training resources on this page are designed to be used in conjunction with the video Why You're Important to Me.

Why You're Important to Me represents in a fun animation the experiences of children in care that were gathered as part of the Quality Contact between Children and Young People and their Workers inquiry conducted in 2009.

The video is available as a DVD on request from the Office of the Guardian and is free for Families SA offices and other organisations that are training case workers engaging with children and young people in care.

The Why You're Important to Me - Dialogue Transcript contains the full text of the DVD in a PDF.

The PDF Quotes and questions for use with the Why You're Important to Me DVD contains selected quotations from young people interviewed for the Quality Contact report organised under themes plus five suggested discussion topics in a format suitable for printing or as a screen presentation.
