The Guardian’s submission on the Privacy Act

The Guardian’s Office  supports a single set of privacy principles that apply to both the public and private sectors which will simplify compliance with the Commonwealth Privacy Act. This is of particular concern in the context of our experience monitoring the implementation of the South Australian Government’s Information Sharing Guidelines for Promoting the Safety and Wellbeing of Children, Young People and their Families (ISG).  For information on the Guidelines go to the Department of Premier and Cabinet website
